March 2006 : Kinetic launch new graphics company

East Yorkshire-based Kinetic Special Vehicles (KSV) has launched Kinetic Grafix, a new business dedicated to the design and application of livery for specialist vehicles.

Kinetic has a 60 year history of designing bespoke vehicles for police forces, prison service and other authorities which require secure and protected vehicles. Kinetic Grafix will target the same audience as Kinetic Special Vehicles, offering a unique ‘one stop shop’ service to its specialist customers.

The company has celebrated its launch by announcing a large contract of 40 vehicles.

Grant Pearce, Managing Director of Kinetic Special Vehicles and Kinetic Grafix explained the decision to venture into the graphics industry. “As we are an established brand within the police and specialist vehicle industry we thought that we would be in a good position to launch our own livery and graphics company. This also enables us to offer our customers a complete ‘one stop shop’ service for both interior and exterior customisation.

“Although Kinetic Grafix is a business in its own right, it will be inextricably linked to Kinetic Special Vehicles which is why we wanted to keep the close association to Kinetic in its name.

“We are delighted to kick start the company with such a large order as it gives us confidence in the future of the company.”
